Edwin "Ed" L. Peterson

Edward "Ed" L. Peterson, 71, of Glen Ellyn. Most loving husband of Patricia "Patty" for 40+ years. Most Loving Father of Cory (Johnny) Schmid and Brian Coppoth. Adoring Grandpa of Iyla & Alivia Schmid. Son of the late Ziedonis and the late Valentine Peterson. Beloved Brother-in-law of Steve and Dave Olson. 

Ed was a Finance Manager for over 35 years at Motorworld. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidsons, horse racing, dabbling in golf, enjoying fine food and drinks and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. 

Ed was the kindest man to all who knew him and is loved by so many. 

Visitation 4 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Funeral Service at 10 AM on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Leonard Memorial Home. Interment to follow the service at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
