Donald Newell Warman

Donald Newell Warman, 89, of Glen Ellyn. Donald passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 at home with his family by his side. He was born on September 27th, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio and was the son of Dana Cy and Grace Warman. He grew up in Buffalo, NY, graduated from Bennett High School and then the University of Buffalo. He had two brothers, Dana and Doug, only a few years apart. They all grew up together.

Donald entered the US Army which took him to Korea. He started his professional career with the M&T Bank in Buffalo, NY. Donald joined the Italian Bank, Nazionale del Lavoro in New York City. That role took him to Chicago in the late 1970’s.

During 1982, in Chicago, he married Christine and lived in Chicago until 1984 until they moved to Glen Ellyn, IL.

Donald is predeceased by his parents and both his brothers. He is survived by his wife Christine; his four children Kirsten (Todd) Warman Powers, Donald Scott Warman, Amy (Brad) Warman Eaton and Philip (Lauren) Warman; five grandchildren Madeline Warman, Connor Warman, Sophia Eaton, Sullivan Eaton and Mallory Warman & his cousin Bryan Warman.

Funeral Service at 11 am on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 393 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.
