Dolores L. Nosal

Dolores Louise Nosal, 98, of Wheaton, formerly of Glen Ellyn and McHenry, IL, peacefully went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 3, 2022. She was born in Chicago on May 18, 1924 to Joseph and Bertha (Heise) Schubert. She married the love of her life, Mitchell Nosal, on July 2, 1949.

Dolores worked many years for Apex Paper Box and Morton Chemical in Chicago. She loved singing in church choirs and excelled at needlework and gardening.

Dolores is survived by two children, Judith Trost of Woodstock, IL and Daniel Nosal of San Francisco, CA; two grandchildren, Brian (Rachel) Trost of Novi, MI, and Jenna Raymond of Woodstock, IL; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two dear friends she loved like family, Donna and Greg Barber.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mitchell in 1982, two infant daughters, four sisters and one brother, and her dear companion in later life, George Rabe. She was a cherished mother, grandmother and aunt, and was the last living link to a beloved generation of family.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Her family would like to thank the staff at Anthology of Wheaton and Three Oaks Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn, IL.
