Daniel Jones Pradt

On December 18th, 2018 Gentleman Daniel Jones Pradt, 82, passed on; one year, eleven months and nine days after the death of his wife, Helen. He is survived by his two children, Karla and Louis (wife Catherine), five grandchildren Anthony, Noelle, Aeriel, Abigail and Lillian, great grandchild Ryan and his brother Louis A. Pradt. LTJG Pradt served two years in the US Navy. He was a resident of the Village of Glen Ellyn for 45 years. He enjoyed working with numbers, investing, studying the game of chess and he could always be found reading a good book. He had many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends all of whom admired Dan as a gentle, humble, intelligent, generous and kind man. A memorial gathering will be held on January 5th at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (393 N. Main St. in Glen Ellyn, Illinois) at 10AM with a memorial service at 11 AM.
