Anthony “Tony” M. Giunta, age 77, of Wheaton/Glen Ellyn, IL crossed home plate on July 16, 2024. Tony had a lifelong love for family, baseball, cards, numbers, and all sports. He was passionate about baseball and had an intense love for the game. His life was fulfilling, and when he left this earth, his wife and his children knew they were deeply loved.
While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace in his "FIELD OF DREAMS". He was a Beloved husband of Lynn for 54 years. Loving father of Michael Giunta (Alison), Christine Giunta-Mayer (Nick Mayer) and Karen Giunta (Scott Vuono). Amazing grandfather of Jackson, Olivia, De De, John Kelly and Paul. Dear son of the late Philip and Mary Jo Giunta. Loving brother of Mary Kay (Al) Howlett, Marcia (Steve) Hoerich, and the late Judy (Bob) Scafidi. Devoted uncle of Kelly, Jeff, Michael, Dan, Adam, Joe, Jimmy, Danny and TJ. Godfather to Kelly Laterowicz, Andrew Richter and Ronan (Desmond) Martinez.
