Anita “Ana” Wuest nee: Parotto, 88, of Lake in the Hills formerly of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn. Beloved wife of Melvin Wuest for 68 years. Loving mother of Lisa (Mark) Harrison, John Wuest and Jeannine Simms. Devoted grandmother of Kara (Michael) McHugh & CJ Stankovich, Alex & Elliot Harrison, Natalie & Annie Wuest. Proud great-grandmother of Maeve McHugh. Adored daughter of Haroldo & Angelina Parotto. Dearest sister of Lou Parotto. Caring aunt of Linda & Tina Parotto.
Anita was at her happiest surrounded by family and friends, whether it be celebrating holidays and birthdays, or just entertaining guests by her swimming pool. She had a loving servant’s heart both at home and at New Hope United Methodist Church, where she was awarded “2011 Woman of the Year” for her tireless service.
We love and miss our “Nitabelle.”
Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org or by mail 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
