Alicia Patterson Rasnic, 83, of Glen Ellyn, Illinois passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025 at Accent Care Home Health of Naperville, IL.
Alicia was born September 22, 1941 in Towson, Maryland to William and Audrey Patterson (Cline). She attended Towson High School and then continued her education at the University of Maryland, graduating in 1964. She worked her early years traveling the US for Proctor and Gamble doing marketing work, specializing in surveys. She then moved to Chicago and went on to Market Research with Market Facts, where she became a Vice President.
Her favorite pastimes included cooking, gardening, traveling and volunteering for a local non-profit, Bridge Communities.
She is survived by her husband, John, children Jonathan (Karla) and Aimee Dowgwillo (Henry), and grandchildren Cora, Ella, Faye, Olivia and Henry. Alicia will be remembered for her love of family, generosity, and sense of humor. Her laughter and wisdom were gifts to all who knew her.
A memorial gathering will take place from 4-8 PM on Friday, May 9th, 2025 at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The following day, Saturday the 10th of May, there will be a service of remembrance at 11 AM held for her at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 680 S. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
