Russell Edwin Jaderholm
Born May 1, 1925 and Died December 14, 2019
Russell 94, was raised in Chicago by his late parents Edwin and Esther Jaderholm along with his late sister Janet (Charles) Barnes and brother Robert (Bud) (Lois) Jaderholm. He attended Tilden Tech High School and was active in school, football and baseball. Russ served with distinction in World War II in the Pacific Theater with the Marine Corps and Navy CB’s. After returning from the war, he attended Wichita State University and graduated with a degree in Business, in 1950. He married his wife of 64 years, the late Lujean Alldritt on October 24, 1953. They moved to Glen Ellyn in 1955.
Russ was an excellent salesman and worked for Standard Oil Company, Uarco Business Forms and his own company, Paper Systems, Inc. He was involved with the Boy Scouts, both as a scout and as a leader while his sons were active. He was proud to be a 32nd degree Mason.
Russ and Lujean are survived by their three sons, Kurt (Kathy) of Fishers, IN, John (Carol) of Hoffman Estates, IL and Ron (Diane) of Wheaton, IL. Their grandchildren include Megan (Dave) Keating, Abby Jaderholm, Jayne (Timo) Betina, Timothy Jaderholm, Daniel Jaderholm, Thomas Jaderholm and Kathryn Jaderholm. They are also blessed with great-grandchildren, Kira and Keegan Keating. They have been members of the Glen Ellyn Covenant Church for over 60 years.
Russell loved his family and friends. He was very social and had friends and relatives wherever he went. Russ enjoyed golfing in his early retirement years. He and his wife also spent much of their retirement years at their home in Glen Ellyn, St. Germain, Wisconsin and Venice, Florida. We will miss his loyal friendship, kind heart and Christian love.

Visitation will be on Friday December 20th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn. (630-469-0032 or www.leonardmemorialhome.com) The funeral service will be Saturday December 21st, 10 AM at the Glen Ellyn Evangelical Covenant Church, 277 Hawthorne Blvd., Glen Ellyn. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn, IL
