Noble Smith

 Noble J. Smith passed away peacefully on May 20,2018 in the home he built and shared with his wife Donnis for 65 years Noble was born and raised in Danville ,Illinois. He enlisted in the Navy during WW II. He served on a cruiser "USS Quincy" in both the European and Pacific theaters After the war he married Donnis and attended the University of Illinois He moved to the Glen Ellyn area and was employed at this University of Illinois Chicago campus as a facilities and ground supervisor. He and his wife enjoyed the outdoors and traveling the USA. Their favorite trip was as devout Christians to the Holy Lands. His burial was private.
