Maurice Hill

Maurice (“Reese”) Hill, born on July 12, 1922, age 95, passed away on October 12, 2017 at Plymouth Place Senior Living. He was preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Thelma Eilene Hill.

Reese was the son of Nellie (nee Chitwood) and Edward Hill and brother of Richard Hill.

He is survived by his son Donald (Nancy) Hill, son Dean (Tina) Hill, Grandchildren Douglas (Kathy) Hill and Debra (Wes) Kosova, Great-grandchildren Taylor Hill, Reese Hill, Eliana Kosova and Lillian Kosova.

Reese was a wonderful father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was an incredible mentor who didn’t hold back his opinions or his heart to the many who worked for and with his Tool & Die Company, Hill Engineering. He also had a competitive passion for his one hobby, golf—member Butterfield CC since 1956.

Visitation Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 3PM – 7PM, at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St, Glen Ellyn, IL.  Funeral service Sunday, October 22, 2017, 10:30 AM at Leonard Memorial Home.  Interment private.  Flowers or donations to Fisher House (www.fisherhouse.org) are appreciated.  Funeral Info: 630-469-0032
