Mary Anne Lanagan, nee Shade, age 86, beloved wife of the late Jerry, devoted mother of Michael (Danielle), Mary Pat (Paul) Dubrick, Tom (Anne) and Bryan (Lisa); loving grandmother of Matt, Kelleen, Andrew, Jenna (Matthew) D’Arcy, Luke (Kristen) Dubrick, Marc Dubrick, Katie, Alyse and Samantha; dear sister of Joseph (Josephine) Shade; fond Aunt of many. Mary Anne, a retired nurse, had a keen intellect and was a voracious reader. Mary Anne attended Notre Dame High School in Pennsylvania and St. Francis School of Nursing in Delaware. She loved to travel and play card games with family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, December 20th from 4-8 PM at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn. (www.leonardmemorialhome.com / 630-469-0032). There will also be a memorial Mass held on Saturday, December 21st, 10 AM at St. Matthew’s Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd, Glendale Heights, IL 60139.
Interment will be private.
