My wonderful sister Margie was always and will always remain an inspiration and role model to her little brother. Her wonderful laughter, smile, attitude, love for life and her entire family & friends was amazing. I am honored and extremely proud to call Margie my big sister. Her never ending focus on others especially family was extraordinary. Her intelligence, fight and ability to always see beauty in things and life was exemplified her entire life and was especially amazing during her courageous fight with breast cancer. She never complained and continued her fight for all of us. This should cause Margie to be a role model for all of us. I will never forget all the wonderful things Margie did for our entire family. From taking charge in arranging and planning family & friends get togethers and parties (Anniversaries, Baby showers, Birthday, Retirement, weddings etc) - she was ALWAYS there for family. The good times and learnings from Margie will never be forgotten and will be cherished every day .. From the walks/runs to Guernsey only to eat a triple scoop ice cream, the weekend visits to MSU for brother &sister weekend or to downtown Chicago, the trips with family to Charleston SC , Florida or to the Milwaukee area, Saint Patrick's Day downtown Chicago or the fantastic annual Thanksgiving Days at Mom & Dad Boland's (some years over 30 people attending) that Margie so loved and enjoyed leading & pulling together!!! Margie is leaving a wonderful legacy behind that any one of us would be extremely proud to have accomplished in life. Three wonderful & amazing girls and a husband (Brian) who always adored Margie and also fought courageously with her. Brian is the best brother -in law one could ask for. Margie and Brian's marriage and relationship exemplified what a marriage should be and how families should treat one another. The love and caring Margie had for her family is reflected every day with what wonderful and amazing girls Margie and Brian raised. I will remember daily the STRENGTH, courage, faith, laughter and loving Margie always showed her entire life . Margie is no longer in pain or bearing the tremendous cross that she had during her fight with cancer - the fight she fought for all of us. Margie will always be with us even though we may not be able to see her, hear her wonderful voice or laughter. God Bless.
