Dr. Hjorth was my psychologist as a teen in Chicago (I am now 50). He helped me so much to overcome my depression and give me hope. I’ll never forget when he told me, “I’d be proud to have you as a daughter.” Just hearing those words made an incredible difference in my life. I’m so sorry to hear he passed at such a young age.

My wife Ellen and I are very saddened by Craig's passing, and want to pass our condolences on to his whole family. Although we don't live near the Chicago area, Linda and I have a family relationship that brought us together frequently. Craig was always a friendly, welcome presence. We will miss him.

Greetings from North Florida! While I did not spend enough time getting to know Craig while attending GBW, it is heartwarming to know how successful students were in their lives. While Craig passed entirely too early, his legacy seems to have touched many lives and his memory will live on in the mind and hearts of all who got to know him. Best wishes in your adjustment to the present circumstances. Sincerely, Randy

My whole family and I were shocked and saddened by Craig's untimely passing. When John Stern called to tell me the news, it brought back a flood of memories about the stories my late husband (Craig's maternal cousin), John, and Betty (their Mom) told me over the years, about the shenanigans that all of the cousins used to pull as kids, together.
Now I'm remembering when my son, Chris and I were passing through Chicago on our way (the long way) to Florida to celebrate Betty and Bud's 60th wedding anniversary, Craig and Linda met with us on the spur of the moment, and we had a chance to get to know them a little better than just in passing, such as weddings, etc.
It was such a blessing to get a glimpse of the rich life Craig had led, and would go on to lead. I'm sure he left a huge gap that cannot be filled or replaced. However, I'm sure his legacy is strong , and will be an example of a good and caring man for his family, friends and colleagues to emulate. Deepest condolences to all, especially to his soul mate and wife, Linda, father, Warren, brother Bradley, sisters Janet and Karen, and Craig's children and grandchildren.
