Charlene L. Mitchell

Charlene “Char” Mitchell age 89 of Glen Ellyn.  The beloved wife of the late Jim for 30+ years. Fond sister of the late Dorothy (late Charles) Treichel. Dear aunt of Joy Haber, Pam Ballew, Charlene Wall, Joanne (Mike) Grauf and the late Claudia Kostrezski. She is also the great-aunt to many great nieces & great nephews. Char worked for 30+ years with American Canning and her passions included square dancing, gardening, taking care of the 3 west highland terriers she had over her lifetime and self teaching herself many things, including the German language.

A short visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8th from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM at the Community Presbyterian Church of Broadview, 2000 W. Roosevelt Rd. Broadview, IL. 60155. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Angels Grace Hospice, 440 Quadrangle Dr. Suite G, Bolingbrook, IL. 60440. Arrangements were handled by Leonard Memorial Funeral Home of Glen Ellyn.
