Ardena L . "Tex" Klenk

Ardena L. “Tex” Klenk age 99 a resident of Glen Ellyn since 1954. She is the beloved wife of the late Lester; loving mother of Don (Emelita) & Elaine (John Sr.) Pope; dear grandmother of Oliver Klenk, Angelica Klenk, John Jr. (Kate) Pope, Christine (Christopher) Guare & Andrew (Jacklyn) Pope; Great-Grandmother of John III, Natalie & Jack Pope, Patrick, Tucker & Denny Guare and Thomas & Nicholas Pope; dear sister to 8 and aunt of many nieces & nephew. Ardena was a avid golfer, achieving 2 hole in ones and was member of Medinah Country Club. She loved spending time with her friends & family, truly enjoying life and the “occasional” scotch. Family would like to thank her gracious caregivers Maricel & Zeny. Visitation for her will be Thursday, November 2^nd from 5-8 PM at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home (www.leonardmemorialhome.com or 630-469-0032) 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations appreciated to Grace Lutheran Church of Glen Ellyn, 493 Forest Ave. 60137.
