Janet A. Jossendal, age 90, of Winfield. Mother of Robert “Bob” (Laurie) Jossendal. Grandmother of Kevin (Roselle) and Erin (Nick) Velianoff. Great-grandmother of Zoey and Jordan Velianoff and Trent Richards. Daughter of the late Olav & Ann Hammer.
Janet worked for Youth for Christ in Wheaton. She enjoyed bowling and traveling the country which she had traveled to all of the states within the United States with the exception of one. She had a good life.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 13th from 11AM - 1 PM at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn; followed by food and drinks at Avanzare restaurant, 667 W Roosevelt Rd #4223, Lombard, IL 60148 from 1:00-3:00.
