Robert W. Anderson

Robert Ward Anderson, age 56, of Naperville, Illinois, recently of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, went to be with his Savior, Friday, October 6, 2017, at Edward Hospital, Naperville. He was the son of the late Billie Ward Anderson and the late Marjorie Cantrall Anderson of Glen Ellyn, both formerly of Springfield, Illinois.

He is survived by his step-mother, Marjorie Cole Anderson, of Glen Ellyn; an aunt, Lillian Anderson of Mechanicsburg, Illinois; and several cousins.

In 1984 Bob graduated and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Williams College, in Downers Grove, Illinois. He was employed for several years by Best Buy Warehouse in the Chicago area. He was an avid reader and spent his spare time reading and studying books on numerous subjects…and he did not forget what he read!

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the Leonard Memorial Home in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Officiant will be Pastor Jim Haligas, of Believers’ Prayer Fellowship Church, Glen Ellyn. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  An internment service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Roselawn Memorial Park, 1735 South Camp Butler Road, Springfield, Illinois.
