Rebecca A. O'Carroll

Rebecca A. O’Carroll (Smith), age 61, of Aurora, IL, passed away at home on October 20, 2017. Becky was born on November 24, 1955, in Wichita, KS, the daughter of the late Bill and Fran (Wilson) Smith. She lived most of her childhood in Wheaton, IL, graduating from Wheaton North High School in 1973. Becky married Thomas W. O’Carroll on March 11, 1989 at St. Petronille Church in Glen Ellyn IL. He preceded her in death. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah K. O’Carroll, grandson, Thomas A. Selmon, her brothers, W. Lynn (Raynie) Smith, Terry J. Smith, mother- in- law Eileen R. ( the late Thomas A ) O’Carroll, brothers-in-law Dan (Gail), Kevin (Maureen), Brian (Meghan) O’Carroll, a special friend Marie (Joe) Mozdzien, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was happily employed at Molenhouse Enterprises for 20 plus years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Funeral Service on Thursday, 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
