Mary Jane Woods

Mary Jane Woods, 93, of Glen Ellyn, died January 14, 2017.
She was born March 10, 1923 in Waukegan, IL to George and Anna (Pye) Woods.
Mary Jane was a graduate of St. Petronille and Glenbard West.
She was employed as a secretary for various companies, most recently for Smykal.  During her life she was a member of the Tri-Fi's, Travelogue , the Glen Ellyn Historical Society and the Catholic Daughters.
Mary Jane was predeceased by her father, George M Woods, Sr.; mother, Anna (Pye) Woods; brother, George M Woods Jr.; and nephew, George Stephen Woods.  She is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Woods of Wheaton; her niece, Elizabeth Clark of AZ; her nephew, Mark (Barbara) Woods of AZ; her niece Susan (Christopher) Stompanato of Naperville; and 11 great nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held on January 19 from 4-8pm at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home,565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn.  Funeral Mass will be at 10am in St. Petronille Church, 420 Glenwood Ave., Glen Ellyn on January 20. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org or 1-800-272-3900). For funeral information (630) 469-0032 or www.leonardmemorialhome.com
