James A. Vitacco

James A. Vitacco of Batavia, formerly of Glen Ellyn, Illinois passed away on July 12, 2016. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Giovenco) for fifty-six years. Father of James M. (Lynn), Kathy (Ray) Whalen, Lynn (Will Dawson) Wilson, and Mike (fiancAC.e Rhea Coffern). Grandfather of Nick, Matthew, and Chris Vitacco, Leslie and Katie Whalen, Tyler, Anthony, and Annabella Vitacco. Brother of Salvator (late Sarah) Vitacco, Robert (Edel) Vitacco, Elaine (late Howard) Kennedy, Barbara Robertson, and Dorothy (Danny) Kmet. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137 from 3 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will follow Monday, July 18, 2016 at 9 a.m. from Leonard Memorial Home, to St. James the Apostle Church, 490 S. Park Boulevard, Glen Ellyn, for 10 a.m. Mass. Internment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
