Elisabeth C. Granata

Elisabeth C. Granata (née Champagne) passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the age of 76.

Elisabeth was born on July 10, 1940 in Chicago, IL to parents Victor and Rose (née Genarella) Champagne. In 1959 she married Frank J. Granata; the marriage ended in divorce. Elisabeth loved reading, listening to opera, and classical music. She enjoyed discussing politics and world events, and had a passion for languages and cultural anthropology -- in particular Italian regional history and traditions. She loved, and was completely devoted to all her grandchildren Vincenzo, Franco, Maria, Victor and Frankie. Elisabeth is survived by her children Frank (Morgan) Granata, Florie (Frank) Sposito, and Vic Granata.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home in Glen Ellyn, IL from 3-9 PM with a service at 7 PM.
