Edward W. Conrad

Edward W. Conrad, a resident of Beacon Hill in Lombard, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chicago on December 12, 1921 recently celebrating his 96th birthday. Edward was the dear son of the late Nell and Arthur Conrad, loving father of Linda (Donna Miller), beloved brother of Donna Carlson and dear friend and companion of Mae Dyer. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife Marilyn and adored son Edward W. Conrad, Jr. A special uncle, loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins alike, that all referred to him as “Our Uncle Ed.” A Visitation will be held from 10-11:00 am on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment Wheaton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to your favorite charity in his name is appreciated.
