My heartfelt condolences to JoAnne, Laura, James and Darla. I only had occasion to meet Doug once
And speak with several times. But in those brief moments, I found him to be a kind, gentle, God-loving man. I am sorry I did not get to know him better. I’m sure we would have been good friends. May your peace come from his memories and the love of Christ in your hearts. Peace - Diana

I'm so sorry for the family's loss Doug was a wonderful man and very funny man and so kind. I'm going to miss him coming into my work visiting me. He always told the funniest but corniest jokes. And he also taught me a lot about different types of Motors when that we were at Sears together which was very interesting. I'm really going to miss though talking to him about old-time radio shows and TV shows I would always text him hey guess what's on it's a Cinnamon Bear or it's Annie of Green Gables is on TV . Roy rogers. Ect.. God bless doug.

While we had not met Doug, we know his son Mark, and it appears that the "apple has not fallen far from the tree" because Mark also is a very caring person. We are so sorry for the family's loss which is even more painful at this time of year. Please know we continue to lift all of you up in prayer and are confident that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has his loving arms wrapped around you all.

Doug was a good man with a wry sense of humor. He made my sister happy and I am grateful for that. Our weddings were 6 months apart and we married men who loved us deeply and completely. How ironic that we would lose both of them within 2 months of each other. They are with God and at peace. Love you sis and know that we will be reunited with our husbands forever one day. Trust in God to get you through the coming days.
