Dorothy Martin

Dorothy “Dottie” Martin nee: Zimmerman, age 86 passed away on April 12, 2017.

She was a current resident of Lombard, IL and a 40 year resident of Glen Ellyn, IL.

The beloved wife of the late Russell; loving mother of Norm, Dan (Debbie), Ron (the late Diane), Glen (Cyndi) and Dave (Maria); dear grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 9; fond sister of the late Kenneth and Bud Zimmerman.  Fond daughter of late George and Clara Zimmerman . Special aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15th from 1pm-3pm at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Funeral service to follow at 3 PM. Interment will be private.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, trips to the casino, and time at Lake Superior. She cherished her dogs especially Marty and loved to dance and listen to music. Please make donations to St Jude Children's Research, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
