Corinne “Corky” Fernald nee: Weir, age 82, resident of Lombard since 1966, met with the Lord on January 29, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. She is the beloved mother of Mark, Mitch (Torrie), Matt (Janine) and Mike (Chris). Dear grandmother of Sam, Jack, Michael, Diana and Natale and step-sister of William Meisner. Loving aunt, great aunt, cousin, friend and “mom” to many. She was preceded in death by her mother Louise Meiser nee: Ferraresi-Weir, father Michael Weir, step-father Raymond Meisner, step-brother Raymond Meisner and her sister Lois Griffin. Corky was a graduate of Glenbard High School in Glen Ellyn, class of 1953.Corky passed away, the way she lived – a fighter! Mom – you were loved & will be truly missed.
