Christine E. Anderson

Christine E. Anderson passed away peacefully on October 2, 2016 after a long battle with breast cancer. Loving wife of Glen for 43 years; loving mother of Ingrid Andersen, Sven (Julie), & Elsa (Kerry) Hermann; dear Mormor of Olin Andersen; Fond sister of Louise (Jack) Mueller, Leonard (Jackie) Endres, Susan (Dan) Voitik, David (Char) Endres, Paul Endres, aunt and cousin of many. She is proceeded in death by her parents Lambert & Vera Endres and her identical twin infant sister. Christine had a very tender heart, loved nature, life and animals. You knew when she loved you that she always had your back. She was a very strong willed person who had a great sense of humor.  She left a lasting impression on each life she touched and for that the family is very thankful.  Her visitation will be Thursday October 6th from 4-8 PM at the Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn (630-469-0032). A service will also be held there Friday morning at 10:00 AM.  Interment to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Hillside, IL.. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in Christine’s honor to CNS Hospice  690 North Ave #100, Carol Stream, IL 60188.
