Albert P. Lewek, age 66, a resident of Lombard for 45 years, passed away on February 26, 2018. Beloved husband to Merekay for 44 years.  Loving father of Anne Marie (Marcel) Herrera Lewek  and Kathryn (Brian Harzstark) Lewek. Dear grandfather of Alexandra and Andrew. Fond brother of Peter, Jean and Larry (Candy). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 3-7PM at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Funeral service held the following day, 10 AM at Leonard Memorial Home. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.  Albert was the owner of Lewek Photography & Frame Studio in Glen Ellyn, past President to the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn, past President of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce, Board member of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society and Board member of the Lombard Library.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to youcaring.com/AlbertLewek.
